Action plan

The Techint Group companies have developed a comprehensive plan to manage the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak around the world. The health and safety of their people and service to their customers remain a priority.

Support for communities

Establishing strong ties with the communities in which we operate has been a core value for the Techint Group throughout our history. This has been done with the conviction that the sustainable growth of our industrial project is only possible through the development and progress of the communities where we live and work.

In order to support our communities against the advance of COVID-19, in 2020 the Techint Group companies launched USD 16.2 million in funding to be put towards bolstering healthcare structures in the communities where they operate in countries such as Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Italy, Romania, the US and Canada.

A safe workplace

In order to guarantee the safety of employees, the companies have taken the following measures:

Teleworking has been implemented for all employees, to the extent possible
Business trips have been suspended, except for critical cases to low-risk locations
Personal travel to countries of risk is discouraged
Meetings of large groups of people have been postponed or are being held online
Best practices for personal hygiene and behavior to avoid risk of contagion are communicated regularly to teams and communities
