It was founded in 1999 by initiative of TenarisDalmine with the aim of promoting industrial culture by enhancing the history of a steel company rooted in the area for over a century and today part of a global company, Tenaris.
It also preserves the company's industrial values and history, and promotes cutting-edge technical education by offering courses in robotics laboratories, as well as cultural activities, with a forward-looking perspective.

Working for nearly three decades, Toni “the Swiss” Rüttimann has united the lives of more than two million people in Latin America and Southeast Asia, by building suspension bridges in collaboration with local communities.
To date, Toni has built more than 930 bridges in 13 countries, with the support of Tenaris and Ternium, which have donated 2,311 tons of pipes and 843 tons of sheet metal, respectively, for this mission.
